Gansingay Peak is easily seen from the West of Skardu and the whole mountainous range is called the Gangsingay Range in balti language Gang means Ice and Singay means the Top.
Shagarthang Lungma heads to the South West of Skardu through jeep road to Kachura and Zhok Village the Shigarthang villagers are Brokpa Shina Speaker, who came from Astore.To start trekking up to Gansingay base camp stay one night camped near the village and enjoying the real beauty after two days you will be at the BC. The village is very beautiful and the houses are in still old designed .Three routes lead over the High Passes the Banak La (4963m), Alampi La (4955m) to the Astore valley and another leads east up to Dari La (4724m) to Deosia Plains.

GKE organized a Successful Expedition and we are the First Summitter of the Peak. A bird’s eye view of Skardu city from the top beautiful view of Shatong Peak, Deosia Plain, Nanga Parbat, K2,Mashabrum and others famous peaks .

Arrive in Islamabad.

Fly to Skardu, if cancelled drives KKH to Chilas.
Day 3
Sightseeing day in Skardu (or drive KKH to Skardu).
Day 4
Drive to Stakchan.
Day 5
Trek to Gamba Khalas
Day 6
Trek to Gangsingay BC.
Day 7
Rest Day
Day 8
Trek to Bong Bong
Day 9
Trek to Bolcho.
Day 10
Drive back to Skardu
Day 11
Fly back to Islamabad.

Fly back Home
