The Deosai National Park is located in between Skardu, Gultari, Kharmang and Astore Valley, in Gilgit-Baltistan region of Northern Pakistan. In Urdu language Deosai Urdu means ‘the land of Giants’. It is locally called Ghbiarsa by Balti a person because it is only accessible in summer. It is well known for its rich flora and fauna of the Karakoram-West Tibetan Plateau alpine region. In the spring season it is covered by sweeps of wildflowers and a wide variety of butterflies.
GKE mission is to exploring new horizons for adventure. It’s the most beautiful and fascinating area of Gilgit-Baltistan, without breathtaking sceneries all around. Yogurt, milk and butter milk are in abundance in villager’s camp with cattle’s during the whole summer season.
