Pastore Peak Expedition (6209 m)

Pastore Peak is an easy “trekking peak” located near K2 and Broad Peak base camp at Khalkhal Glacier, and a perfect introduction to learn about climbing. Be part of the select few to climb on a less travelled trekking peak among the 8000 metre ‘Giants’ of the Karakorum. The best climbing season is in the month of June to August each year. Climbing Pastore Peak from base camp to summit will take 10 to 12 hours, depending on the fitness and experience of the climbers. This peak is famous for its easy climb.

It is not a technical peak but you need good stamina for a long day effort while climbing it. You can climb Pastore Peak without any previous climbing experience and skills of using climbing equipment, however knowledge of using equipment and previous experience would be beneficial.
